Nike introduced its 2011 Roland Garros collection - new looks for Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova. After experimenting with T-shirts, Roger will return to his classic polo, Rafa will sport a bright blue T-shirt with a bright blue updated version of his current Nike Air Court Ballistec 3.3 Tennis Shoes, and Maria will go yellow, sporting a dress inspired by Eiffel Tower. The French Open is here again and it’s so good to read memories of players who at one time made news nearly every week in the tennis journals of the world. This year we could see the rebirth of Del Potro after his disastrous and injury ridden 2010. Good luck Juan Martin; but I am hoping that Roger Federer can find that extra joule, that extra mile, that extra micro effort to topple the likeable Djokovic and Nadal. I use my super selected and much liked Nike products in my tennis matches and they are world class.
