“It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.” Roger Federer
Name: Roger Federer
Birth Date: August 8, 1981
Height: 6’ 1”
Weight: 177 lbs.
Current Residence: Munchenstein, Switzerland
With a record of 16 Grand Slam singles titles under his belt, Roger Federer is undoubtedly one of the best tennis players of all time. He has one older sibling (a sister, Diana) and married a member of the Swiss Women’s Tennis Team, Miroslava (Mirka) Vavrinec. In July of 2009, they celebrated the birth of twin girls, Charline Riva and Myla Rose. During his down time, Roger enjoys the beach and playing cards, ping pong and cricket. A renaissance man, Roger speaks fluent English, German, French and little Swedish and Italian.
His first Grand Slam win in 2003 marked the development of Roger Federer - both in his game and in his sense of fashion. He has evolved from a young tennis player void of any particular style into a man with very specific tastes.

Roger’s current on-court appearance blends comfort and class. He enjoys bright colors in small doses, and his tailored garments perfectly fit his toned physique. Light, breathable fabrics and tasteful accessories enhance the appearance of a cool, calm and collected tennis professional.
Federer has said that fashion helps him to understand who he is. For instance, when he collected his sixth Wimbledon trophy beating Pete Sampras’ grand slam record, he wore the track jacket below boldly displaying the number 15, which was symbolic of the event. Many thought this showed a certain level of arrogance, as Pete Sampras was in the audience at the time.
Off court, Roger Federer sports a clean, classic look featuring tailored jackets and preppy sweaters. He is frequently seen at fashion shows with his friend and Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour and reportedly asks her for fashion tips.
Wintour also provides Federer with on-court style tips, as when he displayed this “all white” pre-match outfit at Wimbledon in 2009, featuring full-length trousers and a mackintosh jacket embroidered with the familiar "RF" monogram.
Though during practice Roger looks like a "regular guy".
